Coaching is about working in partnership to achieve the goals of the Client and to uncover untapped potential within them. By using discussion, listening, tools & techniques to explore beliefs, values and obstacles, Clients can find renewed energy and motivation, achieving milestones, dreams and goals they previously may have thought unattainable. Many things in life can be “learned” through practice and that includes attitudes and behaviours which in turn can enhance your confidence, satisfaction levels and sense of purpose & achievement amongst other things. By recognising and removing “what’s getting in the way”, in the form of thoughts, limiting beliefs and other obstacles, a Client can find their way to their “best self” more easily, achieving clarity and alignment with values.

Career Coaching

Finding the career direction which is right for you or deciding to have a change of career can sometimes feel overwhelming and a bit of a minefield.

Where do you start? Working together with tools, techniques and discussion, we can open up the options and explore and crystallise what is really important in your job or career, identifying blockers and finding ways to move much closer to your true calling, where satisfaction, happiness & wellbeing are more easily attained.

I am licensed to use CCS Self-Assessment Career Coaching tools which significantly enhance the Client’s ability to uncover options, discover their personal & professional values and subsequently achieve clarity around their chosen career path. Using a framework of Screening, Contracting and Exploration , we then move into Clarifying, Visioning, Resourcing and Action.

I am qualified in MBTI Steps I and II, which can be useful to explore individual preferred ways of working, and I also use Belbin Team Types to understand individual roles in teams, as well as Team Dynamics.

I hold a post-graduate qualification in Career & Talent Management from Kingston University.

Young People

Young people benefit from coaching immensely. Coaching can have the same positive impact on young people as it does on adults.

I work with a range of young people including young offenders and recent graduates.

Each young person brings different challenges; however common themes include a lack of self-belief, confidence, self-esteem, identity and challenges with relationships.

I have experience of working with 15-25 year olds and have enhanced DBS (CRB) clearance.

Coaching in Organisations

I offer corporate clients and professional individuals a bespoke service and respect the need to demonstrate ROI. Your coaching programme can include assessment & feedback processes (if required), an initial client-coach-coachee alignment meeting & milestone meetings as deemed necessary, always respecting confidential boundaries and agreements. Some examples of where coaching can be particularly beneficial include support for employees moving into new leadership positions or developing their existing leadership style, confidence and assertiveness building, career coaching, dealing with challenging relationships, encouraging a coaching approach when managing teams, and coaching Executives.

Having worked in both Public and Private sector and in different industries, I have a broad appreciation of commercial & people dynamics, and the value which coaching can bring.

Individualised Private Coaching / Life Coaching

If you would like private coaching on an area (or areas) of life where you are stuck or which is challenging you and you feel an impartial sounding board & professional coaching support would be beneficial in mobilising your thinking and behaviour to achieve your goals, then I provide a package tailored to your needs and budget.

If you, your organisation or a network group would like to find out more about coaching and how it might benefit you, I am available to provide a “taster session” or “introduction to coaching”.

I offer a range of packages as well as individual “pay as you go” Coaching sessions.

I have also completed a Coaching Supervision programme, and am working towards finalising this post-graduate qualification through the submission of relevant practical and written work. I am therefore experienced and qualified to provide coaching supervision to in-house and independent coaches to ICF professional standards.
